ICBS 2026 aims to provide an international platform for scholars, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to exchange knowledge, research findings, and practical insights on how artificial intelligence is reshaping business and financial systems toward sustainability. The conference encourages interdisciplinary research integrating perspectives from business theories, financial practices, governance, innovation, and sustainable development.

On May 27, 2026, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Missouri State University (MSU) to promote collaborative opportunities in education, research, and the development of an international academic network.

On May 22, 2026, UEH College of Business solemnly held a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony with Funding Societies Group—a leading regional digital finance platform headquartered in Singapore that specializes in providing financial support for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) across Southeast Asia. This event marks a significant milestone in UEH College of Business’s strategy to expand its corporate partner network while opening up numerous practical opportunities for students in the fields of finance, technology, and innovation.

On the afternoon of May 18, 2026, the UEH College of Business officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with ZIM Integrated Shipping Services Vietnam LLC (ZIM) at hall B1.205. ZIM, one of the world’s leading container shipping companies with a strong presence in Vietnam, joins UEH's growing network of international corporate partners. This is an important step in UEH College of Business's journey to expand its international business partner network, while also creating a solid foundation for students to get closer to the practical realities of global logistics and supply chain management.

On the morning of May 15, 2026, at UEH Campus A, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) held the signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with PwC (Vietnam) Limited. The event marked an important milestone in UEH’s strategy to strengthen collaboration with industry partners, aiming to develop high-quality human resources in the fields of accounting, auditing, finance, and consulting amid professional transformation and international integration.

On the morning of May 7, 2026, at Hall B1-205, Campus B of University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, UEH College of Business, in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Accounting Association, the Vietnam Association of Certified Public Accountants, Smart Train Academy, and Navigos Group, co-organized a workshop titled “Career Pathways and Advanced Professional Development in Accounting and Auditing.” The event served as a collaborative platform connecting academia, professional bodies, and businesses to share research findings and discuss strategic directions for developing accounting and auditing human resources in the evolving landscape.

On April 16, 2026, the UEH College of Business (COB) hosted a working session with a delegation from City St George’s, University of London, United Kingdom. The event was an important activity within the framework of the “UEH 50 Years - 50 Partners in 5 Continents” program, aiming to actualize signed cooperation agreements while strengthening international collaboration, promoting the development of training programs, research, and educational innovation, in celebration of UEH’s 50th anniversary.

On April 9, 2026, Marriott International, in collaboration with the Department of Tourism, UEH College of Business, organized the Marriott Career Day 2026 at UEH. The event not only introduced career opportunities but also provided students with valuable guidance to help them shape their journey toward becoming senior managers in the hospitality industry.

On April 15, 2026, the UEH College of Business (COB) organized a workshop titled “Developing Case Studies for Teaching” at Campus B of the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH). The workshop attracted strong interest and participation from a large number of lecturers across various faculties.
The program is part of a series of initiatives aimed at enhancing faculty capacity in designing, developing, and utilizing case studies in teaching. It also contributes to improving the quality of case writing and promoting innovative, practice-oriented teaching methods, in celebration of the 50th anniversary of UEH.
