At 8:00 a.m. on October 28, 2026, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) will solemnly hold the 50th Anniversary Celebration of its establishment (October 27, 1976 – October 27, 2026) and receive the First-Class Labor Order. The event marks a special moment in UEH’s half-century journey of development, bringing together pride in its achievements, gratitude to the generations who have contributed, and aspirations to reach new heights in the journey ahead.

From October 12 to 14, 2026, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), in collaboration with SAP, organized the 2026 SAP Vietnam Academic Community Conference under the theme “Learning and Teaching for the Age of Autonomous Enterprise.” The Conference brought together more than 200 delegates from government agencies, higher education institutions, SAP, and the business community to explore emerging technology trends and discuss solutions for strengthening collaboration among the Government, Academia, and Business.

On September 30, 2026, the Award Ceremony of the College of Business Research Prize (COBRP 2026) was held in a formal and dignified atmosphere, with the participation of faculty members, the Organizing Committee, and a large number of students from UEH College of Business. The event honored the outstanding research projects at the competition while recognizing students’ efforts and the support and guidance of faculty members throughout their scientific research journey.

On September 29, 2026, as part of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) course taught by Assoc. Prof. Do Thi Hai Ninh, UEH students participated in the Odoo Education Workshop, featuring training and hands-on practice with Odoo’s CRM software. The workshop was led by Mr. To Ton Thanh, Director of Education Programs, Odoo Vietnam and the Region, giving students the opportunity to gain direct experience with a CRM tool in a learning environment closely connected to real-world business practices.

On September 20, 2026, the Southern Regional Final Round - Sustainability Round of the Vietnam ESG Challenge 2026 took place in Ho Chi Minh City, bringing together nine competing teams from universities in Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang. Representing the College of Business, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), ZEENERS delivered an outstanding performance and won Second Prize – The Wise Board of Directors.

On September 18, 2026, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) and the Vietnam Association of Certified Public Accountants (VACPA) held a ceremony to sign a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) and officially launch the Applied Graduate Program in “Accounting Integrated with the National Professional Qualification.” As the first graduate program in Vietnam to integrate the Vietnamese CPA professional qualification, the program marks a new step forward in connecting postgraduate education with the professional competency standards of Vietnam’s Accounting and Auditing sector.

Ho Chi Minh City, September 16, 2026 - The University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) officially launched the Master Program of International Qualification Integrated Accounting (ACCA Strategic Professional Level) developed in collaboration with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). The program integrates UEH’s postgraduate education with professional competencies at the ACCA Strategic Professional level, aiming to combine academic depth, internationally recognized professional competency standards, and practical applicability.
