On October 25, 2026, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) will host the International Projection Mapping Festival 2026 at Campus N. As the key event of the Light Bloom - International Projection Mapping Competition (IPMC) 2026, the festival will showcase the competition's most outstanding projection mapping works alongside a series of world-class light art performances. By bringing together art, technology, and creativity, the event aims to celebrate and promote the enduring value of cultural heritage through the universal language of light.

ICBS 2026 aims to provide an international platform for scholars, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to exchange knowledge, research findings, and practical insights on how artificial intelligence is reshaping business and financial systems toward sustainability. The conference encourages interdisciplinary research integrating perspectives from business theories, financial practices, governance, innovation, and sustainable development.

As one of the 22 key activities marking the 50-year milestone, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) is organizing the UEH Visiting Lecturers Conference 2026 to honor the contributions of visiting lecturers and experts to training and scientific research at UEH. At the same time, the Conference creates a space for connection, exchange, and knowledge co-creation, aiming to develop a diverse academic ecosystem and strengthen cooperation in the time ahead.

As part of the International Conference on Business Sustainability (ICBS 2026), UEH College of Business will host a Pre-Conference Workshop featuring Professor Dimitrios Buhalis, Editor-in-Chief of Tourism Review. The workshop will provide practical insights into publishing in high-quality international journals, avoiding desk rejection, and understanding editors’ expectations during the peer-review process.

On September 20, 2026, the Southern Regional Final Round - Sustainability Round of the Vietnam ESG Challenge 2026 took place in Ho Chi Minh City, bringing together nine competing teams from universities in Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang. Representing the College of Business, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), ZEENERS delivered an outstanding performance and won Second Prize – The Wise Board of Directors.

On September 18, 2026, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) and the Vietnam Association of Certified Public Accountants (VACPA) held a ceremony to sign a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) and officially launch the Applied Graduate Program in “Accounting Integrated with the National Professional Qualification.” As the first graduate program in Vietnam to integrate the Vietnamese CPA professional qualification, the program marks a new step forward in connecting postgraduate education with the professional competency standards of Vietnam’s Accounting and Auditing sector.

Ho Chi Minh City, September 16, 2026 - The University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) officially launched the Master Program of International Qualification Integrated Accounting (ACCA Strategic Professional Level) developed in collaboration with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). The program integrates UEH’s postgraduate education with professional competencies at the ACCA Strategic Professional level, aiming to combine academic depth, internationally recognized professional competency standards, and practical applicability.

On the afternoon of September 14, 2026, at UEH Campus B, the UEH College of Business (COB) and Kafi Securities Corporation held a Signing Ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), marking a new step in the collaboration between the university and the company, particularly in education, human resource development, and professional activities

On September 13, 2026, the Opening Ceremony of the UOB Investment Challenge 2026 was held with the participation of representatives from United Overseas Bank (Vietnam) Limited (UOB Vietnam), UOB Asset Management (Vietnam), and the UEH College of Business, together with lecturers, distinguished guests, and students from universities and colleges across Ho Chi Minh City.

On September 15, 2026, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) welcomed a high-level delegation from City St George’s, University of London, led by the Lady Mayor of the City of London, Dame Susan Langley, along with representatives from the UK Government and leading professional organizations and associations in the United Kingdom. The program featured two key activities: a cooperation meeting in the morning and the Green Finance Micro-credential Certificate Award Ceremony in the afternoon. Taking place as part of UEH’s 50th anniversary celebrations, the program marked a new milestone in the partnership between UEH and City St George’s, while opening up new opportunities to strengthen connections between higher education and the international ecosystems of finance, professional services, and sustainable development.

On August 24, 2026, at Campus B, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) hosted a discussion and flag presentation ceremony with Rennes University (UR) to expand academic cooperation, specifically focusing on the Double Degree Program in Finance and Banking.

From August 25 to 29, 2026, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) hosted a working program with Universitas Padjadjaran (UNPAD), Indonesia, to strengthen bilateral cooperation and expand engagement in education, research, public administration, and university–business collaboration. The program featured professional discussions, the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), and the commemorative flag exchange ceremony - UEH Flag Journey, marking new milestones in the partnership between the two institutions.
