On October 25, 2026, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) will host the International Projection Mapping Festival 2026 at Campus N. As the key event of the Light Bloom - International Projection Mapping Competition (IPMC) 2026, the festival will showcase the competition's most outstanding projection mapping works alongside a series of world-class light art performances. By bringing together art, technology, and creativity, the event aims to celebrate and promote the enduring value of cultural heritage through the universal language of light.

ICBS 2026 aims to provide an international platform for scholars, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to exchange knowledge, research findings, and practical insights on how artificial intelligence is reshaping business and financial systems toward sustainability. The conference encourages interdisciplinary research integrating perspectives from business theories, financial practices, governance, innovation, and sustainable development.

As one of the 22 key activities marking the 50-year milestone, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) is organizing the UEH Visiting Lecturers Conference 2026 to honor the contributions of visiting lecturers and experts to training and scientific research at UEH. At the same time, the Conference creates a space for connection, exchange, and knowledge co-creation, aiming to develop a diverse academic ecosystem and strengthen cooperation in the time ahead.

As part of the International Conference on Business Sustainability (ICBS 2026), UEH College of Business will host a Pre-Conference Workshop featuring Professor Dimitrios Buhalis, Editor-in-Chief of Tourism Review. The workshop will provide practical insights into publishing in high-quality international journals, avoiding desk rejection, and understanding editors’ expectations during the peer-review process.

As one of the 22 flagship activities celebrating the 50th anniversary of the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), UEH Dream Concert Vietnam 2026 will present an inspiring evening of artistic performances featuring the New York Classical Music Society (NYCMS), a symphony orchestra from South Korea.

On the morning of August 13, 2026, UEH College of Business and Royal Service Restaurant Hotel Travel Joint Stock Company held a signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The two parties also discussed and exchanged views on the signing of Memoranda of Agreement (MOA) with the School of Tourism and the School of International Business and Marketing. The event marked a new milestone in the partnership between the university and the business community, with a focus on strengthening the connection between academic training and practical experience while expanding opportunities for learners to learn, gain hands-on experience, conduct research, and develop their careers.

Continuing its efforts to expand learning opportunities and provide students with meaningful international experiences, the College of Business – University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (COB – UEH) continued its participation in the ASEAN+ Summer Camp 2026, the fourth edition of the academic and cultural exchange program for students across the region. Held from July 26 to August 1, 2026, and hosted by Universiti Malaya (University of Malaya), Malaysia, this year’s program was organized under the theme “Empowering ASEAN Youth: Innovation, Sustainability and the Future of Regional Economy,” providing students with opportunities to explore the knowledge, perspectives, and capabilities needed to navigate the rapid changes shaping the region and the world.

As part of its ongoing efforts to expand international learning opportunities and provide students with meaningful global experiences, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) continues to facilitate students’ participation in academic and cultural exchange programs with international partner universities. From July 27 to August 2, 2026, Vietnamese students, including students from UEH, participated in the Taiwan Summer University Program in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The program was organized by National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU), Taiwan, and Parami University, Myanmar, and hosted by NSYSU.

From 6–11 July 2026, a delegation of students from the UEH College of Business participated in the IIT Bombay International Summer School 2026 at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay)—one of South Asia's leading institutions in engineering, technology, and innovation. More than an academic exchange, the program offered students an immersive journey into one of Asia's most dynamic innovation ecosystems, where ideas are nurtured through research, collaboration, and entrepreneurial thinking.

Concluding a nine-day learning and experiential journey, the student teams participating in the project “Sustainable Entrepreneurship for Economic Development – SEED 2026” presented their research results and business development solutions at the Closing Ceremony and Project Report. This was the wrap-up activity, marking the process of transforming practical experiences into proposals of value to enterprises and the local community.

On 27 July 2026, College of Business - UEH held a reception and working session with a delegation from University of East London (UEL), United Kingdom. The meeting was an occasion for the two sides to exchange views on development orientations and to reach agreement on the contents for implementing cooperation in the fields of training, research, and the internationalization of higher education.

In July 2026, students from the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) participated in the 2026 Language & Culture Summer Camp at Ming Chi University of Technology (MCUT) in New Taipei City, Taiwan. The program brought together participants from nine countries: South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, France, India, Indonesia, Mongolia, Myanmar, and Vietnam.

As part of its ongoing efforts to expand international partnerships and strengthen education and research in line with its internationalization strategy, the UEH College of Business (COB) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR), Indonesia on the morning of July 22, 2026, at Campus B, Universitas Airlangga, Surabaya, Indonesia.
