Overview

As an Audit Associate, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality audit and assurance services to a diverse portfolio of clients. You will work closely with experienced professionals to gain exposure to various industries, develop strong technical and analytical skills, and play a part in ensuring our clients’ financial integrity and compliance with regulatory standards.
This role is ideal for detail-oriented individuals who enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and are eager to build a career in the audit and accounting profession.

Key Responsibilities

• -   Assist in planning and executing audit engagements in accordance with the firm’s auditing standards;
• -   Perform substantive testing and analytical review of financial statements and supporting documentation;
• -   Identify and communicate accounting and auditing issues to the engagement team;
• -   Prepare working papers, audit documentation, and draft audit findings;
• -   Support senior auditors in preparing audit reports and client deliverables;
• -   Keep up to date with accounting and auditing standards, regulations, and industry developments;
• -   Education and professional skills / knowledge.

Experience & Education

• -   A recognised degree in Accounting or equivalent with at least a second class upper classification and/ or;
• -   A recognised Professional Accounting qualification in ICAEW/ACCA are also encouraged to apply.

Other skills

• -   Active in co-curricular activities in school/university, preferably holding leadership positions;
• -   A team player with a positive attitude, initiative, and attention to detail;
• -   Analytical, problem solver, resourceful and self-motivated person;
• -   Strong proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
