Recently, the Student Scientific Research Awards Gala COBRP 2025 (College of Business Research Programme) was held in a solemn and emotionally engaging atmosphere, with the participation of more than 400 students together with faculty members.
From the representatives of the College of Business and affiliated units, we were honored to welcome Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Hai Ly – Vice Rector of the College of Business; Dr. Nguyen Tan Trung – Head of COB Office; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Cuu Long – Cell Secretary of the School of International Business – Marketing; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Thi Hai Ninh – Director of the Marketing Program; Dr. Le Hoang Oanh – Deputy Head of the Managerial Accounting course; Dr. Phan Quoc Tan – Director of the Master’s Program in Human Resource Management, School of Management; Dr. Le Thi Cam Hong – Lecturer of the School of Accounting; along with faculty representatives, program directors, and supervising teachers.
From the UEH Youth Union and Student Association, we were honored to welcome Mr. Trinh Huynh Quang Canh – Secretary of the Youth Union of the College of Business; Ms. Pham To Thuc Han – Secretary of the Youth Union of the School of Management; Dr. Nguyen Thi Hong Ngoc – Secretary of the Youth Union of the School of Tourism; together with faculty Youth Union secretaries, members of the Organizing Committee, and a large number of students.
In the opening remarks at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Hai Ly, Vice Rector of the College of Business, extended a warm congratulation to the group authors. She highly appreciated the growing maturity in critical thinking and the spirit of engagement of UEH students in addressing real-world issues. Especially, she emphasized the indispensable role of faculty supervisors. The dedicated guidance provided by the teachers serves as a valuable “compass”, not only helping students refine their research projects but also shaping their academic thinking, enabling them to move forward with confidence on their scholarly journey.

Within the framework of the program, the College of Business Board of Management formally presented Letters of Appreciation to faculty supervisors whose student teams achieved outstanding results in the COBRP 2025 Competition. This recognition honors the dedication, perseverance, and strong sense of responsibility demonstrated by faculty members throughout their mentorship, guidance, and continuous support for students in completing their scientific research projects. These letters not only reflect the College’s appreciation of the vital role played by academic supervisors, but also affirm the close connection between teaching and research, as well as the meaningful collaboration between lecturers and students in nurturing academic thinking, scientific competence, and aspirations for contribution among UEH College of Business students.

A Vibrant Academic Picture with More Than 100 Awards
The COBRP 2025 Awards Gala showed a remarkable surge in both the quantity and quality of research papers. After rigorous and impartial review rounds, the Organizing Committee honored 111 outstanding papers, including 22 Grade A Awards, 33 Grade B Awards, and 56 Grade C Awards.

The College of Business Research Programme (COBRP) organized by the Youth Union and Student Association of the College of Business, is not only an academic arena but also carries the mission of nurturing research capabilities and contributing to the enhancement of training quality. The papers honored at COBRP 2025 are expected to become UEH representatives as they continue to pursue city-level, ministerial-level, and national-level scientific research awards in the future.
