Concluding a nine-day learning and experiential journey, the student teams participating in the project “Sustainable Entrepreneurship for Economic Development – SEED 2026” presented their research results and business development solutions at the Closing Ceremony and Project Report. This was the wrap-up activity, marking the process of transforming practical experiences into proposals of value to enterprises and the local community.
SEED 2026 is a cooperation project between the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) and the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW), held from 15 to 23 July 2026 in Ho Chi Minh City and Tay Ninh province. The program brought together lecturers, experts, and students from many countries to study, work, and solve business problems along the orientation of sustainable development.

Within the framework of the program, the multinational student teams conducted field surveys and worked directly with a number of enterprises in Tay Ninh province, including Long Hiep Joint Stock Company, Hoa Thanh Long An Company, HP Long An Mushroom Workshop, Coffee Khanh Nguyen, Thao Tien Rice Mill and Chavi Garden Tourist Area. Through observation, interviews, and exchanges with the enterprises, the students had the opportunity to learn about operating models, business strategies, and production processes, as well as the opportunities and challenges arising in the course of development, and on that basis to formulate solutions suited to the practical context of each unit.

Following the field research, the teams jointly analyzed data, held discussions, and developed their business projects under the guidance of UEH lecturers and international partners. The proposals focused on a range of contents such as business model innovation, product development, brand building, market expansion, enhancement of customer experience, and the application of sustainable development solutions appropriate to each enterprise.
At the Project Report session, the teams presented their research results in turn before a panel of lecturers and experts. In addition to introducing their solutions, the students also engaged directly in discussion, responded to questions, and took on board professional feedback in order to refine their proposals, thereby enhancing the feasibility and applied value of the projects.

More than a wrap-up activity, the final report session was also an occasion to look back on the journey of cooperation, learning, and connection among students from many different cultures. From thematic classes and enterprise field visits to cross-border teamwork, SEED 2026 provided a learning environment closely tied to practice, helping students develop innovative thinking, problem-solving capacity, and the skills to work in a global context.
As SEED 2026 comes to a close, the solutions presented are not only the outcome of a process of research and co-creation among students, lecturers, and enterprises, but also serve to affirm the effectiveness of the international cooperation model between UEH and FHNW in connecting academia with practice. The program continues to spread the spirit of sustainable entrepreneurship while equipping students with the capabilities needed to create positive value for enterprises, the community, and society.
