International Conference on “Implementing Internal Quality Assurance Systems – For a Sustainable Future of ASEAN Higher Education”

With the aim of fostering engagement and bridging the gap between awareness and the practical implementation of Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) systems in higher education institutions, while promoting the development of potential, effective, and sustainable IQA models in Vietnam, the Quality Management Department under the Ministry of Education and Training, the ASEAN University Network Secretariat (AUN), and the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Regional Centre for Higher Education and Development (SEAMEO-RIHED), in collaboration with the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), are co-organizing the International Conference on “Implementing Internal Quality Assurance Systems - For a Sustainable Future of ASEAN Higher Education,” taking place from August 18 to 19, 2025.

The event will welcome the participation of representatives from the Ministry of Education and Training, leaders of the Quality Management Department, and higher education institutions that are AUN-QA members in Vietnam, along with leading quality assurance experts from ASEAN countries and around the world. Through knowledge- and experience-sharing sessions, in-depth discussions, and co-creation activities, the conference aims to support universities in building, adapting, and operating IQA systems that are well-suited to their specific contexts and characteristics. In doing so, it contributes to enhancing academic quality, fostering a quality culture, and strengthening adaptability in the face of emerging developments in higher education across the region.
