To equip students with updated and comprehensive knowledge of the banking industry’s development trends in the era of digital transformation, globalization, and green finance, on October 8, 2025, the School of Banking – UEH College of Business organized the sharing session titled “Future of Finance and Banking: Green, Digital & Human” at Room B1.205, Campus B, attracting the participation of more than 70 students.
The event was honored to welcome Professor Abhinav Goyal – Professor of Finance and Director of Global Engagement at the Birmingham Business School, United Kingdom, together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Chung Thuy, Vice Dean of the School of Banking, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quoc Anh, Lecturer at the School of Banking.

In the first part of the session, Professor Abhinav Goyal delivered an insightful presentation on the key trends shaping the banking sector amid digital transformation and sustainable finance. His talk highlighted the role of green finance, the impact of AI and Blockchain, and the evolution of digital banking models, thereby inspiring students to explore new research directions and career opportunities.
Continuing the session, the Professor emphasized the human factor and professional skills in shaping the future of banking, where technology advances rapidly but people remain at the heart of innovation. Through this discussion, students gained a deeper understanding of the three pillars Green – Digital – Human, along with essential career skills for succeeding in today’s financial industry.
