The International Statistical Institute (ISI), founded in 1885, is one of the oldest active scientific associations in the world.
The International Association for Statistical Computing (IASC), established in 1977 as a Section of ISI, promotes worldwide interest in effective statistical computing by exchanging technical knowledge and fostering connections among statisticians, computing experts, organizations, government agencies, and the public.
The Asian Regional Section (ARS) of the IASC was created in 1993 (renamed in 1998) to advance research, training, and collaboration in statistical computing and data science in the Asia–Pacific region.
Since 2015, ARS has maintained an annual series of international conferences – the IASC-ARS Conferences on Statistical Computing – hosted in rotation by countries such as Singapore, New Zealand, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, and Australia.
In 2025, the 13th IASC-ARS Conference will be hosted in Vietnam by the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), co-organized by the College of Economics, Law and Government (CELG-UEH) and the Vietnam Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics (VIASM).
The event is expected to be one of the most significant statistical conferences of 2025, bringing together scientists, experts, faculty, and researchers in statistical computing and data science from around the world.
The conference welcomes submissions in two formats:
