As sustainable development increasingly becomes a key requirement for businesses, policymaking, and the global economy, greater emphasis is being placed on equipping students with interdisciplinary thinking, adaptability, and the ability to work effectively in multicultural environments. With the aim of connecting business knowledge with environmental and legal issues in the context of globalization, the Airlangga Global Program on Sustainable Business and Environmental Law 2026 provided UEH students with an international academic environment where they had the opportunity to learn, gain practical experiences, and connect with peers from around the world at Universitas Airlangga, Indonesia.
The Airlangga Global Program on Sustainable Business and Environmental Law 2026 is an international academic program organized by Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR), Indonesia, combining online learning activities with an in-person academic experience in Surabaya from August 10 to 14, 2026. The program focused on interdisciplinary topics, including sustainable business, ESG, environmental governance, international trade, human rights, and environmental law, providing students with opportunities to explore global issues from diverse perspectives. As part of the international collaboration between UEH and UNAIR, 22 UEH students from various academic units and disciplines participated in the program, learning, exchanging ideas, and engaging with peers in an international environment.

As part of the program, students engaged in academic sessions on sustainable development, environmental law, international trade, ESG, and the relationship between businesses and human rights. Through lectures, discussions, and case studies, students had the opportunity to connect their academic knowledge with practical challenges facing businesses and the global economy. In addition, the visit to the Center for Sustainable Governance and Strategy (CSGS) provided students with practical insights into ESG, sustainable governance, and sustainability reporting frameworks. This experience enabled them to gain a clearer understanding of the interconnectedness between environmental and social responsibility, corporate governance, and business value.

During the Program Beyond academic activities, the program also featured a series of cultural exchange activities and experiential learning opportunities in Surabaya. UEH students had the opportunity to explore the local culture, history, and way of life while engaging in cultural exchange activities with students from different countries. These experiences contributed to fostering intercultural understanding, strengthening students’ communication and collaboration skills in multicultural environments, and expanding their international networks.

These valuable experiences contributed to developing the competencies students need to thrive in an increasingly interconnected global environment.

The Airlangga Global Program 2026 journey has been another meaningful experience, extending UEH’s learning environment beyond the classroom and equipping students with the knowledge and skills they need to confidently engage, adapt, and contribute in an ever-changing world.
4th ASEAN+ Summer Camp 2026: A Journey of Learning, Discovery, and Connection for UEH Students in Malaysia
Continuing its efforts to expand learning opportunities and provide students with meaningful international experiences, the College of Business – University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (COB – UEH) continued its participation in the ASEAN+ Summer Camp 2026, the fourth edition of the academic and cultural exchange program for students across the region. Held from July 26 to August 1, 2026, and hosted by Universiti Malaya (University of Malaya), Malaysia, this year’s program was organized under the theme “Empowering ASEAN Youth: Innovation, Sustainability and the Future of Regional Economy,” providing students with opportunities to explore the knowledge, perspectives, and capabilities needed to navigate the rapid changes shaping the region and the world.
UEH Students Experience an International Learning Journey at Taiwan Summer University 2026
As part of its ongoing efforts to expand international learning opportunities and provide students with meaningful global experiences, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) continues to facilitate students’ participation in academic and cultural exchange programs with international partner universities. From July 27 to August 2, 2026, Vietnamese students, including students from UEH, participated in the Taiwan Summer University Program in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The program was organized by National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU), Taiwan, and Parami University, Myanmar, and hosted by NSYSU.
