UEH College of Business and VietCap Renew Strategic Partnership to Expand Development Opportunities for Students

On July 6, 2026, the UEH College of Business (COB) and Viet Capital Securities Joint Stock Company (VietCap) officially held the renewal signing ceremony of their Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), while also signing Memoranda of Agreement (MOAs) with the School of International Business – Marketing, School of Finance and the School of Banking. The event marks a new milestone in the long-standing partnership between academia and industry, reinforcing the connection between education and practice while creating broader learning, experiential, and career development opportunities for students.

Representing the UEH College of Business were Dr. Tran Anh Hoa, Vice Rector of the UEH College of Business; Dr. Nguyen Tan Trung, Head of COB office; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Hai Yen, Dean of the School of Banking; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thi Phuong Vy, Vice Dean of the School of Finance; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Mai Dong, Dean of the School of International Business – Marketing; and Dr. Nguyen Thi Dai Trang, Lecturer of the School of International Business – Marketing.

Representing VietCap were Ms. Chau Thien Truc Quynh, Executive Director of the Domestic Brokerage Division; Mr. Duong Quoc Cuong, Director of Investment Advisory Department 01; Mr. Vo The Hoa, Deputy Director of Investment Advisory Department 06; and Mr. Tran Van Long, Deputy Head of the Training Division under the Investment Advisory Department.

In her opening remarks, Dr. Tran Anh Hoa reaffirmed the College's commitment to providing students with an innovative learning environment and strong career prospects. He emphasized that achieving this goal requires close collaboration with industry partners, particularly VietCap, whose support plays a vital role in bridging academic knowledge with professional practice. Through the renewed partnership, both parties will continue to collaborate closely in organizing practical learning activities, providing internship opportunities, and expanding career pathways for students. This collaboration also reflects the implementation of the UEH Co-creation strategy—a strategic partnership model of UEH in which the university, students, businesses, and the community jointly create knowledge, address real-world challenges, and generate sustainable value. Building on 50 years of development and a collaborative ecosystem founded on five strategic pillars—education, research, recruitment, innovation, and Giving/Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in education—UEH continues to strengthen its role as a multi-stakeholder connector, fostering meaningful partnerships and creating lasting value for the community and society.

On behalf of VietCap, Ms. Chau Thien Truc Quynh reaffirmed the company's commitment to further strengthening the successful partnership established over the years while expanding collaborative initiatives to enhance educational quality, deepen university–industry engagement, and contribute to developing highly qualified human resources that meet the evolving demands of the labor market.

The ceremony continued with the signing of Memoranda of Agreement (MOAs) between VietCap and representatives of the School of International Business – Marketing, the School of Finance, and the School of Banking. These agreements further specify collaborative initiatives tailored to each academic discipline, including corporate visits, industry immersion semesters, expert sharing sessions, internship placements, recruitment opportunities, and the development of university–industry engagement programs for students.
