- To develop orientations, strategies and plans for IT development in each development stage of UEH University and of individual UEH unit. To make periodic and irregular reports regarding the status of IT operations and to suggest solutions to problems related to the entire IT system of UEH University; to build, to develop and to manage application software in research, training and administration of UEH University.

- To be the focal point of contact with external partners in terms of IT infrastructure construction, softwares for management and teaching to ensure the compatibility and synchronization of UEH University’s IT system.

- To be responsible for operating and managing all IT activities at UEH University; to establish, to monitor and to maintain operation continuity of IT system; to provide reliable and effective services on IT infrastructure and teaching and learning activities at LAB rooms.

- To manage email system of UEH officials, employees and students/learners.

- To install, to repair and to upgrade computer equipment, network equipment; to direct network connection allocation; to manage and to ensure the technical and information technology infrastructure for activities in UEH University; to consult on the development of technical conditions and standards upon IT-related equipment investment; to collect, to store, to process and to secure information for research, training and learning.

- To coordinate with UEH-affiliated Units in organizing and implementing: To ensure the operational efficiency of IT system, to protect information and data in UEH internal network and to maintain network activities at the institution; to plan and to organize IT application training courses in research, teaching and learning at UEH University.

- To consult and to implement management and training software solutions for units under the University; to coordinate IT technical support for UEH units and individuals, including: designing and estimating the cost of building IT systems at these units and deploying application systems.

- To develop relevant rules, regulations and professional processes and to perform the monitoring functions of IT activities and IT applications at UEH University.

- To coordinate with UEH Department of Marketing - Communication managing Portal UEH.

- To coordinate with UEH Human Resources in building UEH Human Resource Management System (HRM).

- To coordinate with IIG Vietnam in building and deploying IIG’s authorized Testing Center under the cooperation program “Improving students’ computer literacy by IC3 international standards”.

- To coordinate with training units in printing, opening and managing student/student/doctoral student cards for different training modes/levels.

- To organize, to manage and to coordinate with UEH-related units to deploy the system of open learning materials and online training (eLearning) at UEH University.

- To research, to develop and to transfer research results on IT.

- To coordinate UEH functional units to perform tasks arising during UEH University’s operation.

- To manage human resources, facilities and assigned means and equipment effectively.

- To perform other tasks assigned by UEH President.
