About us

Established in 2017, Institute of Business Research (IBR) is an autonomous unit under the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, with separate legal status, seal, bank account and independent accounting.
IBR works with 3 main goals:

Implementing academic and applied research projects with domestic and foreign partners.

Organizing prestigious scientific conferences

Implementing Bachelor, Master, Doctoral programs and short courses (Mini MBA).

Our Team

Executive Board: Prof. Dr. Vo Xuan Vinh - Dean.
Scientific Council: Scientists who are working and collaborating on research with IBR.
Research group: Senior researchers, junior researchers, trainee researchers and research assistants in the fields of: Banking and Finance, Application of forecasting models in financial economics, Energy Economics, Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Management and Applications in Socioeconomics.
Training group: Each training program consists of a program director, a program assistant and lecturers.
Support group: Office administrators, accountants and treasurers.

Research

Over the years, the Institute of Business Research (IBR) has always focused on academic research and applied research.
IBR is in charge of implementing numerous research projects at state, ministerial and institutional levels. At the same time, IBR has been coordinating with many universities and professors to register funding sources from international and national research grants, national projects such as Nafosted, ministerial and equivalent levels as well as
Provincial/City level. Besides, the Business Research Institute has carried out many applied researches at the request of central agencies such as the Central Theoretical Council; ministerial and provincial/city agencies.

The Business Research Institute is always interested and wishes to cooperate with domestic and international partners in the following fields: Training: higher education, graduate education and short courses in the fields of economics
Research: academic and applied research in the fields of Banking and Finance, Macroeconomics, International Business, Business Administration, Tourism Management, Economic Statistics, Econometrics,…
Consultancy: business consulting and technology transfer activities.
