Public management can be considered as the process of organizing government activities, planning, selecting, promulgating and implementing public policies to ensure public interests. In that process, legislation has an important role in establishing the mission, vision, functions of authorities, defining the process of policy selection and the adoption in the form of legislation. This course helps learners understand the interrelationships between public administration, public policy and law. The course is 2 credits, divided into 8 topics, each topic is included in 1 session, combining lecturing, discussions, case studies and conducting independent research under the guidance of the lecturer. Students must read an average of 50-70 pages of material per topic. The material includes in Vietnamese and in English.
