The course provides the basic knowledge required to commence a master's degree study. The first is identifying the elements of a good study, determining how much a study contributes, and how to ask the research question. Next will be an overview of related theories, including how to use Endnote citation software to manage references. The course will provide quantitative methods, including statistical basics, and econometric models for both panel and cross-sectional data. This section also introduces impact assessment methods and data collection. The course will also cover the writing of other essential components of a research such as the Introduction, Research Context, interpretation of research findings, and policy implications. Finally, the course will cover how to write a complete research proposal.
