This course equips students with methodological thinking and core research skills in economics and related fields. It focuses on developing the ability to identify research problems, formulate testable research questions and hypotheses, and design appropriate research strategies that generate both academic contributions and practical solutions.
Throughout the course, students are guided to identify and refine research topics; construct theoretical and analytical frameworks based on a critical review of the literature; select suitable research methods; design data collection procedures; analyze qualitative and quantitative evidence; and present findings according to academic standards. The course also emphasizes research ethics and academic integrity.
