The course introduces students to a complete process of methods and tools necessary to be able to conduct scientific research to solve problems in public management. To do this, students are required to go through a research process from: (i) defining research problems in the public sector, (ii) applying their acquired expertise. equipment in the subjects to review the literature and propose an analytical framework or research model appropriate to the problem to be solved, and (iii) how to conduct information collection, processing and analysis as a basis for assessing the problem of interest, and thereby (iv) proposing effective and feasible solutions to solve the research problem. The course is designed in the direction of combining theoretical lectures with corresponding practical exercises so that students can master the necessary research processes and tools right after completing the course.
