This course explores the science of analyzing economic and financial data and applies various methods and techniques to address real-world problems in financial management and business operations. Utilizing a wide range of analytical tools, particularly Python—a powerful object-oriented programming language in data science—learners are equipped with skills to perform a complete data analysis process, including data collection, processing, description, visualization, analysis, evaluation, inference, forecasting, and decision-making support.
The course content is designed based on four foundational pillars of data analytics: descriptive analytics, diagnostic analytics, predictive analytics, and prescriptive analytics. Traditional analytical methods and modern analytical algorithms are introduced, such as deep learning, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, to analyze real-world economic and financial data effectively.
