In this course, students will practice simulating the management of a company in a web environment by implementing strategic business decisions for each year of business. Students will make decisions in each phase related to the production of company-branded and private-brand footwear, additional production space and equipment and production improvement options, compensation and training for the workforce, distribution and shipping center operations, footwear pricing and marketing, celebrity endorsement contracts, corporate social responsibility, and financing for company operations.
Students will have to apply different business strategies to compete with rivals in a virtual competitive environment that simulates reality.
In addition, the course also helps students practice & improve soft skills such as: communication skills, personal relationship building skills, teamwork skills, problem solving skills, leadership and report analysis.
