This course explores how firms in high-technology sectors formulate and implement business strategies under conditions of rapid technological change, uncertainty, and networked competition. Students will analyze strategic issues such as innovation ecosystems, first-mover advantages, standards wars, disruptive innovation, platform strategies, IP management, and globalization of high-tech industries. Emphasis is placed on integrating theory with real-world cases from sectors like semiconductors, AI, biotech, telecom, and renewable energy.
