This module is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge required for analyzing financial data. They will learn to apply statistical and econometric models to identify relationships, test hypotheses, and generate forecasts. The course focuses on using empirical data to address both practical and academic challenges within the banking and finance sectors.
6. Brief Description of Course Content:
This course provides students with fundamental knowledge about research-oriented quantitative research, methods and tools used in academic research in the field of finance and banking. The course provides basic knowledge about data and data sources in the field of finance - banking, data processing methods and estimation techniques applied to flat data, time series data, and focus on panel data.
Besides, practicing data processing with STATA software is an optional content of the course.
