The Entrepreneurial Management course equips MBA students with the mindset, skills, and strategies needed to launch and manage successful ventures. It covers opportunity identification, business model development, lean startup methodologies, and marketing growth strategies. Students learn to navigate legal and ethical challenges, leverage emerging technologies, and manage risks in uncertain environments. The course emphasizes innovation, adaptability, and strategic decision-making, preparing students for entrepreneurial success in both local and global markets. Additionally, it explores sustainable entrepreneurship and social impact, ensuring graduates can create businesses that drive economic growth while addressing societal challenges.

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

6 Modules for the Entrepreneurial Management Course, including: 

Module 1: Foundations of Entrepreneurship

This module introduces students to the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, highlighting its role in economic growth, innovation, and job creation. Students will explore the characteristics of successful entrepreneurs, analyze global trends shaping the entrepreneurial landscape, and examine different types of ventures, from startups to corporate entrepreneurship. By understanding the broader entrepreneurial ecosystem, students will develop a strategic perspective on how entrepreneurial thinking applies across various business contexts. 

Module 2: Developing an Entrepreneurial Mindset

An entrepreneurial mindset is key to navigating uncertainty and driving innovation. This module focuses on fostering creativity, resilience, adaptability, and risk-taking. Students will engage in case studies, experiential learning, and real-world applications to enhance problem-solving skills and strategic decision-making. By learning to take calculated risks and embrace challenges, students will develop the confidence and agility required for entrepreneurial success. 

Module 3: Opportunity Identification and Validation 

Recognizing and evaluating viable business opportunities is crucial for entrepreneurship. In this module, students will learn methodologies for identifying potential business ideas, assessing market demand, and validating feasibility. Topics include industry analysis, customer discovery, and competitive assessment. By applying structured frameworks, students will be better prepared to transform innovative ideas into commercially viable ventures. 

Module 4: Business Model Development and Lean Startup Methodologies

A strong business model is essential for sustainable growth. This module introduces students to frameworks such as the Business Model Canvas to design scalable and market-driven businesses. Topics include value proposition development, revenue models, and customer engagement strategies. Additionally, students will explore lean startup principles, including rapid prototyping, Minimum Viable Product (MVP) development, and iterative learning, to optimize resource allocation and maximize business potential. 

Module 5: Marketing Strategies and Growth Hacking

Scaling a business requires effective marketing and growth strategies. This module equips students with knowledge of digital marketing, branding, customer acquisition, and cost-effective growth hacking techniques. Students will learn how to build strong brand positioning, develop marketing campaigns, and implement customer-centric strategies to ensure long-term business success. 

Module 6: Managing Risk, Innovation, and Social Impact 

Entrepreneurs must manage risk, leverage innovation, and drive social impact. This module covers risk assessment models, crisis management strategies, and decision-making tools to navigate uncertainty. Students will also explore how emerging technologies, such as AI and blockchain, impact business models. Finally, the module examines global entrepreneurship and sustainable business models, enabling students to create ventures that balance profitability with positive social and environmental contributions. 

This structured approach ensures that MBA students gain a well-rounded understanding of entrepreneurial management, equipping them with the skills and knowledge to build and sustain successful ventures.

These modules are approached after basic subjects such as Management, Research Methods in Business and can be studied in parallel with modules such as Advanced Marketing Strategy, Advanced Finance for  Managers, etc.
