Brief Course Description

1. Course Title:

(EN) Partial Differential Equations And Applications

2. Language of Instruction:

English

3. Course Code:

MAT608012

4. Credits:

5. Course Objectives:

The course Partial Differential Equations and Applications is designed to introduce several basic classes of partial differential equations, including important equations such as the transport equations, Laplace's equations and heat equations. Through the study of these equations, students will gain foundational knowledge on how to solve and analyze partial differential equations, enabling them to apply these concepts in various fields. The theoretical results derived from the study of these equations will be used to address practical problems in areas such as economics and finance, helping students better understand the application of mathematics in modeling real-world phenomena.

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

This course aims to introduce some basic classes of partial differential equations including transport equations, Laplace equations and heat equations. Through this course, we provide students with several methods to study partial differential equations. Theoretical results will also be applied to some practical issues in economic and financial analysis, etc.
