The course introduces approaches and analyzes tools for managing the monetary market and conducting monetary policies of central banks in the world as well as Vietnam. From there, students apply and propose appropriate solutions for implementing monetary policies at the macro level.
6. Brief Description of Course Content:
The course equips students with knowledge and skills about Central Bank's operations and monetary policy. The course also provides the knowledge of the transmission of monetary policy through credit, foreign exchange market, and open market channels affecting the objectives of monetary policy. It helps students to analyze the real situations related to the State Bank of Vietnam
