5. Course Objectives:

FinTech, or financial technology, is disrupting the traditional financial services industry. It is changing the way financial services are delivered, making them more efficient and cost-effective, and helping bring financial services to those previously underserved by traditional financial institutions. In this course, we will first define what FinTech is, along with its importance, before explaining the history and evolution of various FinTech advancements. The most important topics in Fintech will be introduced such as Blockchain, Big Data, Platforms, etc. Next, we will look at the current FinTech landscape, focusing on some of the most prominent financial services sectors that are being impacted by Fintech, such as peer-to-peer lending, digital banking, online payments, etc. The course will also examine the components of the Fintech ecosystem, focusing mainly on development policies, regulatory frameworks.

The module "Fintech in the banking sector" provides graduate students with in-depth knowledge about the nature, principles of innovation, operational tools and the impact relationships between Fintech activities and trends. future development of money along with transaction institutions, products and market structure of banking and finance.
