The course focuses on using empirical data to address both practical and academic challenges within the banking and finance sectors.
6. Brief Description of Course Content:
The subject provides students with fundamental knowledge about research-oriented quantitative research, methods and tools used in academic research in the field of finance - banking.
The course equips with basic knowledge about data and data sources in the field of finance - banking, data processing methods and estimation techniques applied to flat data, time series data, focus on panel data.
Besides, data processing practice with STATA software is an optional content of the course.
