This module is structured around thematic discussions of Corporate Finance principles, enabling learners to grasp the core concepts, theories, and methodologies underpinning corporate financial decision-making. Upon completion, learners will be equipped with both fundamental and advanced knowledge of corporate finance, providing a solid foundation for further specialized study in this area or related finance disciplines.

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

Corporate Finance is an introductory finance course that is required for all MBA students. It is therefore designed to cover those areas of finance that are important to all managers whether they specialize in finance or not. At the end of the course, you will be able to analyze capital structure of a firm or evaluate an investment project. In order to reach this goal, we will cover the following topics:

  • Corporate financial and governance management;
  • Investment decision;
  • Risk and return;
  • Market efficiency, corporate financing and dividend policy.
  • M&A and corporate restructuring
