With a hands-on approach, students will be equipped with both theoretical understanding and practical experiences in conducting a research project. Specifically, there are two main tracks that equip students with both academic knowledge and practical experience in doing research.
Track A includes an overview and 6 key topics of research methods that help students to understand completely almost all the important theoretical contents of the unit.
• Topic 1: Marketing research process
• Topic 2: Exploratory research design
• Topic 3: Conclusive research design
• Topic 4: Marketing research brief & marketing research proposal
• Topic 5: Measurement & Scaling
• Topic 6: Questionnaire design & sampling
Track B includes a research project that serves as an opportunity for students to apply what has been captured in track A into a semi-practical research project. The research project comprises 3 small studies: desk research, exploratory research and conclusive research that help students to understand deeply some main techniques in doing research
