d. Outline various real-world applications of information systems
e. Describe the stages of the information system development life cycle (SDLC) and different methods for building an information system

g. Identify the social, legal and ethical implications of using modern information systems.

"Information Systems (IS) play a central role in many aspects of business operations and are one of the most crucial functional components contributing to the success of any modern economic and social organization. This course introduces students to IS, their role in the modern business environment, and the considerations for developing and managing IS to create high-quality goods and services and achieve competitive advantage.
