This course equips students with essential knowledge and skills that are integral to the learning outcomes for students specializing in Economic and Social Statistics at any university or college. The course provides knowledge and methods for collecting information on population and labor; describing and analyzing the size and structure of populations using statistical methods; and studying the statistical methods for analyzing processes such as birth, death, and migration – the components that drive changes in population size and structure. The study of population development and population forecasting serves as a foundation for socio-economic forecasts. Basic statistical methods are used to study the formation, distribution, and utilization of human resources. The course also covers fundamental methods in labor statistics, employment, and key statistical indicators. Additionally, students will develop skills in using software tools (Excel, SPSS) for data processing and will be able to interpret the result tables generated by these software tools.
