The basic content of the course consists of two parts: Part I focuses on understanding the nature and content of economic growth and economic development. The relationship between growth and income distribution and poverty reduction is also studied in this section. Part II will analyze the effects of inputs such as labor, capital and natural resources on economic growth in both theory and practice.
This course introduces students to theories of economic growth and development so that they can discuss socioeconomic changes in countries. The consequences of development models will be analyzed, compared, and from which positive aspects and threats arising from the development process can be drawn for developing countries, especially for the developing world Vietnam.
