Introduction to Epidemiology provides the concepts of cause-and-effect relationships in epidemiology, methods of prevention of noncommunicable diseases, methods of surveillance and response to infectious diseases, and methods of environmental impact evaluation on health. This course helps learners to explain the role of epidemiology in public health care, the role of epidemiology in health policy making and planning, the calculation of health measures and diseases.
