5. Course Objectives:

This course introduces the foundations of managing creativity and innovation. This course is designed to introduce students to the concepts, opportunities and challenges, and roles of managing creativity and innovation in organizations. Readings and discussions will focus on concepts and frameworks for analyzing how companies create, commercialize, and capture value from innovative products and services. This course also provides students with techniques and tools for shaping and supporting creativity and innovation activities in organizations. Students will identify the conditions necessary for creativity and innovation, as well as the types of innovation in organizations.

This subject is designed to introduce learners to the concepts, opportunities and challenges, and the role of innovation and creative management in organizations. Learners will recognize the necessary conditions for creativity and innovation as well as the types of innovation in the organization.
