- The course provides knowledge to help managers develop the resources and capabilities of the organization needed to achieve sustainable competitive advantages in traditional and emerging markets. - The course explores how organizations develop to achieve competitive advantage as the core of the strategic management process. - This course will introduce the concept of strategic management through lectures, reading materials, discussions and analysis of strategic situations in businesses. - The course will help students develop skills in analyzing and identifying opportunities and threats from the business environment, mastering analytical methods to see strengths and weaknesses, especially discovering and identifying resources and capabilities that help businesses achieve core competitive advantages, thereby being able to develop and select strategies at all levels of the business in a systematic and effective manner to help businesses achieve sustainable success. Knowledge from this course will also contribute to consolidating students' knowledge acquired from subjects such as marketing, operations management, human resource management, financial management, and corporate social responsibility.
