5. Course Objectives:

The course helps students analyze and evaluate scientific research methods in the field of business administration, including qualitative, quantitative and mixed research. Students will apply and synthesize fundamental theories to build a research framework, identify research problems, develop scientific models and hypotheses suitable for business practices. Students will develop and practice skills in collecting, processing, analyzing and presenting research data. In addition, students will proficiently apply research support tools and software to analyze quantitative and qualitative data. In addition, students will improve their teamwork skills, debate and defend research viewpoints in academic and business practice contexts. Students will proactively search, synthesize and update research documents from reputable academic sources to build a solid theoretical foundation. At the same time, students will lead and draw expert conclusions, propose management solutions based on scientific research results. The course also helps students evaluate and optimize research methods to improve the quality and applicability of research in business.

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

The course on scientific research methods helps graduate students identify problems that need to be solved or researched related to business. From there, research will be proposed to solve the problem. To do this, the course will equip students with basic knowledge about research types, research designs, research methods, data collection methods, data analysis and reporting of research results. The course provides fundamental knowledge and important skills for students to understand the process of independently conducting an academic research project or applied research in the business field. This course is related to previous courses such as Applied Statistics in Business and Management as well as parallel or inherited courses such as Marketing Management, Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, etc.
