5. Course Objectives:

Provide students with a solid foundation of knowledge to design and implement three basic types of research: quantitative, qualitative and mixed. Help students understand the structure and components of each type of research, so that they can apply them appropriately to research problems in the field of management. Develop skills in searching, synthesizing and analyzing documents to identify and select appropriate research methods. Practice the ability to use specialized terminology in English to read and write scientific articles, while improving communication, presentation and teamwork skills through academic discussions. Encourage a proactive spirit in collecting, updating and evaluating research information from various sources. Help students improve critical thinking, draw conclusions of professional value and contribute meaningfully to research practices in the business field.

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

This Research Design course provides master students with an understanding of the design process of quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-use academic studies. To do this, the course will equip students with basic knowledge of these three main types of research; structure and design their components to conduct an academic study of these basic types of research.
