This course aims to help students understand the trends of innovation in the modern business environment and how digital technology, especially information technology, substantially impacts businesses. After completing this course, students will master innovation and digital transformation theories and develop practical skills that can be applied to work and business management in the technological era. Through this course, students will be equipped with knowledge focusing on five contents:
1. Understanding business innovation: students focus on learning how businesses can innovate, from improving business processes and products/services to changing business models to maintain competitiveness and meet market demands;
2. Grasp the trend of digital transformation: trainees will be introduced to digital transformation, a process in which businesses apply digital technology to change internal activities, from management production to marketing and customer care, in order to create new value. Enhance efficiency and improve customer experience;
3. Applying technology to businesses: helping students gain insight into how technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), big data (Big Data), Internet of Things (IoT), cloud computing, and other digital tools can be applied to businesses to grow and improve operational efficiency;
4. Developing strategic thinking and management: trainees will be trained on building innovation and digital transformation strategies suitable for each type of business, and also understand the challenges and opportunities businesses face in this process; 5.
