The subject of Modern Commercial Banking provides in-depth knowledge of banking activities in the trend of technology 4.0. The core content of the subject is to equip in-depth knowledge of assets and liabilities of commercial banks, diversification of banking activities, banking business efficiency, banking stability, failure, bankruptcy and the impact of financial crisis on the banking system in the world. In addition to the knowledge gained, the subject of Modern Commercial Banking also trains analytical skills, the ability to respond and make decisions to handle issues related to banking in the world in general and Vietnam in particular.

The course focuses on analyzing world economic issues and the commercial banking system in modern world economic conditions. Next, the course aims to analyze important topics on efficiency, diversification, banking stability and bank failure - bankruptcy... Applying these issues in the context of Vietnamese commercial banks, evaluating the practice of the Vietnamese commercial banking system in the modern world economic conditions. Therefore, students have the ability to approach the business environment, to detect and handle related issues affecting risks in commercial bank operations.
