The primary objective of this course is to provide learners with a good, practical understanding of various financial instruments – their features, valuation, market structure, trading environment, and principal participants. The instruments that will be studied in this course include debt, equity, derivatives, and investment funds. In addition, the course will discuss the findings of relevant empirical research on these financial instruments.
