The course covers topics such as identifying target readerships and profiling journals and other outlets, efficiently managing the writing process, effectively structuring the text, producing fluent and reader-friendly sentences and paragraphs, and revising and editing the text prior to submission and in response to reviewers' comments. Participants are expected to produce a number of short texts as homework assignments, and they receive individual feedback on these during the course. After the course, Ph.D. students will have good command of English as a working language and start to work on the research ready for publication.
