The Quantitative Methods in Business and Management course helps NCS design and select quantitative data collection processes and methods as well as use appropriate advanced multivariate analysis techniques to help answer research questions, validate theoretical models for academic research in the field of business and management. Topics cover a wide range of advanced statistical and quantitative modeling techniques used to analyze primary or secondary data for research in business and management today, including: factor analysis, cluster analysis, multiple discriminant analysis, multiple regression, log regression, probit, structural equations (SEM) modeling, and advanced SEM topics. In particular, discussions and practices of searching, reading, analyzing, and presenting scientific papers using these advanced quantitative methods will help NCS understand primary and secondary data collection tools; how to apply these quantitative techniques and models in specific areas of business and management research.
