5. Course Objectives:

The course International Human Resource Management introduces students to aspects related to human resource management in an international context. Students will understand human resource management in an international setting; it prepares students to pursue global careers and apply the concepts of international human resource management in practice.

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

Human Resource Management (HRM) is one of the key functions in business administration. This course provides fundamental knowledge and skills in managing human resources (people) in both domestic enterprises and global companies.

Its main content covers essential activities in the HRM cycle, including HRM strategy, recruitment and selection, workforce management, employee performance management and evaluation, training and development, compensation planning and management, employee benefits and services, as well as labor relations.

The course content is presented in combination with vivid real-life case studies from the management practices of multinational corporations (MNCs) in Vietnam.
