5. Course Objectives:

The course is to help students master contemporary marketing issues in the global context. The course provides knowledge about the impact of the internet and technology on marketing practices, as well as issues related to consumerism, sustainable marketing, and social marketing. Students will gain a deeper understanding of globalization and global marketing management, as well as the philosophy of holistic marketing. Through this, the course helps students develop the ability to analyze contemporary marketing issues and apply principles to real-world scenarios in a global business environment.

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

This course provides students with an understanding of contemporary global issues on marketing: the influence of the internet and technology on marketing practices, consumerism and sustainable marketing; globalization and global marketing management; social marketing; and holistic marketing philosophy. This course is related to the following courses: Marketing and Communication, Project 3: Practical Events Management, Project 2: PR & Advertising - Strategy & Campaign, Digital Marketing & Branding, Marketing Research & Consumer Behavior.
