5. Course Objectives:

The course “Advanced Listening and Speaking Skills 2” is designed to help students further develop their English listening and speaking abilities, focusing on topics such as Behavior, Sustainability, and Responsibility. Students will develop strategies for understanding natural spoken language in real-life situations, participate confidently in discussions, and deliver effective presentations. Teamwork skills—including conducting small-scale research, planning and presenting research findings, as well as evaluating both their own and others’ presentations—will also be practiced. Compared with previous courses, this one offers an advanced level by expanding the range of topics and strengthening practical application skills, thereby fostering students’ confidence, fluency, and reflective capacity, and preparing them for communication and problem-solving in both academic and business contexts.

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

This course builds on foundational speaking and listening skills, guiding students toward advanced proficiency in understanding and producing spoken English. Through exposure to a range of topics such as Behavior, Sustainability, and Research, students will sharpen their ability to comprehend authentic spoken input and respond effectively in academic and professional discussions. Emphasis is placed on teamwork, critical thinking, and presentation skills. Students will engage in mini-research projects, practice planning and delivering research-based presentations, and develop strategies to assess and improve performance. The course integrates interactive activities, peer feedback, and reflective tasks to foster independent learning and competence.
