This 45-period course provides a general and critical overview of major works, authors, and movements in British and American literature. It emphasizes figurative language, elements of fiction, and the analysis of selected short stories. By studying works from representative writers, students gain insights into themes, characters, styles, and the historical–cultural contexts of the works.
