Students understand the basic knowledge of the concept, foundation, formation and development process of Ho Chi Minh's economic thought; Grasp the basic contents of Ho Chi Minh's economic thought; The application of Ho Chi Minh's economic thought by the Communist Party of Vietnam in the period of innovation and international integration; Form students' ability to think independently; analyze, evaluate, apply and create Ho Chi Minh's economic thought to solve problems in the current economic reality; Recognize the role and value of Ho Chi Minh's economic thought in the formation of the economic thinking of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the current development of the country; See their own responsibility in studying and practicing to contribute to the development of the country's economy in the direction of socialism.

The Ho Chi Minh Thought module on economics consists of 3 chapters, providing students with basic knowledge about: the basis, origin of formation and development develop Ho Chi Minh's thoughts on economics; Ho Chi Minh's basic ideas on economics, the process of applying Ho Chi Minh's ideology on the economy of the Communist Party of Vietnam during the transition to socialism.
