5. Course Objectives:

The Organizational Behavior for Public Organizations equips students with knowledge, skills, and competencies to understand, manage, and impact behavior change. The main topics in the course revolve around the science of organizational behavior with a focus on the management of public and non-profit organizations with three main theme groups including (1) Understanding the behavior, motivation, and actions of public officials; (2) The difference between management and leadership in public and non-profit organizations; (3) Individual experiences of real-life situations related to the topic of organizational behavior.

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

The Organizational Behavior for Public Organizations module focuses on explaining the necessity of organizational behavior science in public and non-profit organizations. The content of the curriculum aims to equip people with an understanding of the basic issues affecting behavior in the context of public service. In addition, learners have the ability to diagnose and understand the main behavioral principles of the organizational leadership and management process. The module is structured in each session including the main topic and practical situations so that learners can apply the theory they have learned and into simulated experiences.
