5. Course Objectives:

"This course provides in-depth knowledge of civil obligations, civil contracts, civil liability, and methods of securing the performance of obligations. Specifically, upon completing the course, students will: Understand and be able to present issues related to civil obligations and civil contracts, including general principles, the basis for formation, validity, and issues concerning the performance and termination of contracts. Master specific types of civil contracts and distinguish between methods of securing obligations as prescribed by Vietnamese law. Develop skills in researching, analyzing, and applying legal provisions on obligations, contracts, and civil liability. Enhance the ability to detect errors and issues in contracts and present solutions to problems persuasively. Cultivate the ability to work independently, creatively, and responsibly, with a clear awareness of justice and the protection of justice in civil legal relationships.

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

Continuing the basic contents of the foundations of private law and the content of basic rights such as ownership and inheritance, Civil Law II provides knowledge of civil obligations from general to in particular: (1) an overview of the obligations, the basis of the obligation arising and the capacity to circulate the obligation (2) the issue of securing the obligation (3) the general contract issue and the Conventional civil contracts (4) institutions of civil liability, including liability for breaches of obligations and liability for non-contractual damages.
