"Have basic knowledge of environmental protection law in general and environmental protection in production and business activities in particular.
Understand basic issues of environment, environmental protection as well as basic principles of environmental law.
Explain the differences between environmental protection tools
Identify the legal framework regulating the environment and environmental protection in Vietnam.
Have practical skills in law practice such as legal advice, participation in litigation in court, arbitration for cases related to the environment"
6. Brief Description of Course Content:
The Environmental Law course is based on the existing knowledge of civil and administrative law. The subject includes topics related to environmental protection activities in Vietnam. Specifically, it centers around the Strategic Environmental Assessment, Environmental Impact Assessment, Environmental Permits, protection of environmental components, natural heritages, environmental protection in production and business activities, waste management, climate change response, as well as compensation for environmental damage.
