5. Course Objectives:

The objective of the course SStrategic Management for Public Organizations is to equip learners with basic knowledge of strategic management in public and non-profit organizations. Learners are able to assess the characteristics of strategy planning and implementation in public and non-profit organizations, and understand the role of the values and missions of public organizations. In addition, the module equips learners with an understanding of organizational environment assessment, key strategic issues and the process of formation, implementation, and evaluation of strategies in public organizations.

The Strategic management for public organizations course focuses on discussing key concepts, processes, and tools in public sector management, especially emphasizing strategic topics of best practices in strategic management in public organizations.
