5. Course Objectives:
"Scientific Research and Academic Writing Skills" course provides learners with basic knowledge of ethics in research, scientific research methods to be able to design a scientific research proposal, know how to process, compile and analyze data collected during the research process using two methods: qualitative and quantitative, and at the same time be able to present research results. Learners practice some software applications in research on finance, accounting, auditing, and taxes, so that they can independently build and develop their own research. In addition, learners will be equipped in the content of this course with academic writing skills related to the field of accounting and auditing through different types of tasks such as essays, reports, research proposals, graduation theses and dissertations. In addition, learners are aware of the requirements for academic writing to be able to present academic reports according to APA standards.
6. Brief Description of Course Content:
By providing knowledge about research methods in a systematic way, the subject enables learners to apply and analyze quantitative and qualitative research methods, and especially conventional methods. applied in finance, accounting, auditing, tax. Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods helps learners to independently construct and develop their own research. In addition, the course will also support learners in writing and presenting academic reports according to APA standards.
