5. Course Objectives:

The course will provide students with basic knowledge about the operating environment and management methods of international banks with the goal of sustainable development of the banking system in the world. The course also equips students with in-depth knowledge about the financial activities of international banks, correspondent banking activities; and foreign lending.

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

This module provides students with a theoretical and practical foundation of international banking activities within the context of financial globalization. It enables learners to gain a comprehensive understanding of the operational mechanisms, organizational structures, products, risks, and strategies of cross-border banks. The course aims to develop analytical thinking regarding international markets such as Eurocurrency, global financial centers, offshore financial zones, and foreign exchange business strategies, alongside an overview of Fintech. Students are also equipped with the capacity to evaluate international risks—ranging from country and banking risks to liquidity crises—while understanding how policy response frameworks are formulated and implemented.
